Drone Video Shows Construction Progress of Apple's Spaceship Campus
Slated to be completed by the end of next year.
Apple’s new spaceship campus has made considerable progress as shown by this recent 5K high-def drone footage, as opposed to in August of last year when it was still a donut-shaped hole in the ground. Designed by acclaimed British architect Norman Foster, the first levels of the expansive building have taken shape, with the final 260,000 square-meter office and research facility to incorporate a 1,000-seat auditorium, an on-site power plant, underground parking, and a 9,290 square-meter fitness gym. The vast space in the middle will become a garden for the building’s 12,000 inhabitants to relax in during downtime. The structure is slated to finish construction by the end of 2016.
