2B.group uses ingenious space-saving measures to maximize the open-plan layout for this Ukrainian apartment
Tasked with creating an interior design minimizing the use of walls and doors, 2B.group has unveiled this evocative design for an apartment in Kiev, Ukraine. With its optimum usage of wide open spaces, the final design is thus geared for entertaining guests, and as such the design sees ingenious placement of zones in relation to each other in such a way that guests only see what is functionally relevant to them while maintaining privacy, despite the open-plan layout. Touches include the bookshelves made to line the bedroom wall as a space-saving measure, and the doubling up of a spacious wardrobe as a passageway leading from the master bedroom to guest bedroom.
