Texas-based workshop Hennessey Performance has been quite prolific of late, reconstructing classics from Ford, Jaguar and Cadillac to create pinnacles of automotive engineering. Their latest project undertakes the Ford Mustang GT, souping the 2015 coupe up to a whopping 774 horsepower with 648 lb-ft of torque in the HPE750 package. Understandably, this vehicle has more in common with a road jet than your average sedan, and tops out at just over 207 mph. With Jay Leno and the crew from his Garage series on hand, Hennessey Performance took to the tracks to record and witness the car’s blitzing speed – viewable above.
