Last week, Taylor Swift wrote an open letter criticizing Apple Music‘s unwillingness to pay artists during the service’s the free, three-month trial period, letting readers know that she will not be putting her music on the platform because of that. In under a day’s time, Apple revised its terms and policies accordingly, agreeing to pay artists during the trial period. Both parties seem to have been on good terms since, and earlier, Taylor Swift announced via Twitter that she will make her most recent album, 1989 (which cannot be found on Spotify), available on Apple Music — something she had declined in doing before the policy change.
