Celebrating her fifth visit to Saturday Night Live, Rihanna closed out the series’ 40th season with an impressive performance of her most recent singles, “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “American Oxygen.” The Carribean beauty offered a real spectacle which required a transformation of the SNL stage into a film noir set as RiRi turns up to #BBHMM. For the second segment of her performance, Rihanna opted for her politically conscious ballad “American Oxygen,” which she delivered obscured in silhouette as the three video screens boxing her in projected iconic moments from American history.
