Watch Childish Gambino Drop a Five-Minute Freestyle

Last weekend Childish Gambino performed in Baltimore, Maryland during Preakness Fest 2015. To end his set, he laid down a five-minute-long freestyle for the crowd. Although it’s a shaky, fan-filmed cell video, you can watch and (carefully) listen to Glover spit bars referencing Ray Lewis, Young Thug, The Game, and the Avengers. His witty and articulate flow over a trap beat is indeed something to be seen. Watch the video above.

He is hitting a handful of festivals this summer also, including New York’s Hot 97 Summer Jam, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
