A Closer Look at the Carhartt WIP x Vans 2015 Spring/Summer "Hickory Stripe" Collection

After launching the collaboration about a week ago, here we turn a closer eye to the new drop from Carhartt WIP and Vans. Using Vans’ hallmark Slip-On and Chukka Boot silhouettes as the base for the project, here Carhartt’s cult-favorite fashion imprint imparts its proprietary summer seersucker on an duo of high- and low-rise options. The Chukka option contrasts blue and seafoam green ‘Hickory Stripes’ on throughout a lightweight canvas upper, complimented by a leather interior and suede hit at the collar. Elsewhere, the Slip-On drop is decked out with blue Hickory Stripe through the body, followed up by vertical green stripes from the midfoot through the heel.
