It seems Kanye West is turning a new leaf this year, with apologies flooding in to the likes of Taylor Swift, Beck and more. Now we hear news that Yeezy has settled his 2013 law suit regarding the alleged attack on photographer, Daniel Ramos. If we take you back in time, we find the 2013 charge against West for misdemeanors of criminal battery and grand theft, against a photographer in LA. After pleading not-guilty, Kanye West was sentenced to two years probation.
Well it seems today, according to TMZ, the case has been settled, and West and Ramos have been seen shaking hands, with an apology sited as the reason. The photographer’s attorney, Gloria Allred, states: “We believe that this case sent an important message. Celebrities are not above the law, and they have no right to physically attack someone simply because they were asked a question.”
