Under the direction of Takuya Morikawa, Japanese clothing brand TaaKK has released their latest collection for Fall/Winter 2015. As a combination of sartorial styling and functional design, each piece represents the crossroad on which modern day tailoring and technicality sits. Amongst its use of bold coloring and affiliation towards heavy geometric motifs, the details very much lie within each garments’ construction – from detailed shirt plackets to the fabric blocking applied across the line, and to heavier pieces. The collection gives the impression that it will perform accordingly long into the colder months without being unnecessarily bulky and heavyset.
