PREMIERE: Dominic Lord - Wings + Horns (Produced by Sebastian Sartor)

Dominic Lord has been on a continuous rise with his forward-thinking approach to music and fashion. The Harlem-bred musician has previously worked with illustrious beat architects such as Hudson Mohawke, Benny Blanco, and Stargate, who crafted tunes for the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna. For the next chapter in his career, the 21-year-old has joined forces with up-and-coming producer Sebastian Sartor, who caused major noise for his work on Pusha T’s “King Push.” Together, they have crafted a unique vibe that they introduce with the brand-new single “Wings + Horns.” Listen to the song above and find out how both artists met and what you can expect from them in 2015 in our conversation below.

How did you two get together?

DL: Steven Victor introduced us to one another and from there we’ve been creating the most next level sh*t that popular music can offer. We are continuing to raise the bar in hip-hop. We are delivering cinematic experiences to the people.

SS: Steven put us in touch around this time last year. We connected right away and ever since then it’s just been getting together to create, create and create some wicked records.

Will there be more collaborations between the two of you?

DL: You be there will be more collabs between us. Hell, there might even be a cool project we put out together. Who knows. We work so well together. Seb is a genius.

SS: (Laughs) Thanks man, you too! There will definitely be more from us together in the future.

What are your respective goals this year?

DL: My goals are huge this year. I’ve been paving out my team, improving everything. This Wings + Horns song is the first single off of the year and half in the making album I’ve been creating. The album is going to be called Overworld. Which is also my movement, OW. This will really be the project that brings you closer to Dominic Lord. This is the one. This album will showcase my growth and creativity while identifying the feelings of what the OVERWORLD movement is really about!! This album will be my spiritual awakening. And then there will even be a follow up album. OW season approaches.

SS: Be more of a presence! Create things! Make more records, finish what I’m working on at the moment, and gettimg into playing more gigs too.
