They say getting there is half the fun. But thanks to a new Google Maps hack straight from Google itself, it’s about to get a lot more fun than that. Just in time for April Fool’s Day, Google is letting you turn the entire world into a legitimate game of Pac-Man. All you have to is open Google Maps, click the Pac-Man button at the bottom of the screen, and watch as your current location is transformed into a giant Pac-Man arena. You can then take control of the iconic character and chomp your way through the streets of real world cities while being chased by four pixelated ghosts, all set to the beat of the game’s classic soundtrack. Google Maps’ Pac-Man is playable right now on both traditional browsers and mobile devices, so get ready to see a lot more of the world from the perspective of everyone’s favorite yellow eating machine.
