Famed artist and photographer Nick Waplington‘s work usually deals with the outside world, however in this short documentary brought to you by NOWNESS, he speaks on his experiences and dealings with designer Lee Alexander McQueen. In 2009, the late-designer invited Waplington to document his fall/winter Horn of Plenty collection and the images captured are now a major exhibition at London’s Tate Britain. In the video above, he talks about witnessing McQueen’s moment of creation and also notes how his own detachment from the fashion world allows the people viewing his images to come to their own interpretations and conclusions as to what they see. The exhibition titled “Working Process” runs from March 10-May 17 at Tate Britain, London.
