The Geneva Motor Show has thus far been one of the most exciting in recent memory, with automotive companies unveiling “faster,” “lighter,” and “more powerful” iterations new and old. A less trending term in Switzerland though, “environmentally responsible” has been picked up by Aston Martin as the focus for its DBX concept car. The newly unveiled vehicle features an all-electric powertrain in a larger, touring coupe-y silhouette, with electric in-wheel motors – thereby nullifying the need for an engine compartment. Other features in the proposed vehicle are high-grade carbon ceramic brakes and cameras substituted for mirrors. While certainly not ready for the road, according to CEO Andy Palmer, the DBX represents “a piece of fresh, bold thinking about what Aston Martin GT customers… [can request] in the future.” Enjoy a preview of this car above, and let us know if you’d like to see the DBX on a street near you in the comments below.
