For the next six months, the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibition will be taking place at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, paying homage to the mysterious and creative mind of the late designer. London was McQueen’s home and the heart of his inspiration, with the showing offering a more immersive experience than the exhibition that ran in New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2011. The personal and intimate exhibition saw many of the designer’s close friends attend its opening in celebration of the storied creative, such as Philip Treacy, Sarah Burton, Kate Moss, Stella Tennant and David and Victoria Beckham. The exhibition features over 66 garments and accessories, from throughout McQueen’s iconic career. The retrospective is open now, and runs until August 2.
