Love it or hate it, Candy Crush is a certified pop-culture phenomenon. It is the most popular game on Facebook, with 46 million average monthly users, 800 regular levels and over 600 Dreamworld levels, with new levels being added every two weeks. Now we are getting a look inside the Stockholm offices of Candy Crush developers King, and they are as every bit whimsical as you might imagine from a company whose games are chock-full of cartoon design elements, bright colors and joyful sound effects. The areas of the offices have names that themselves sound like game levels, such as “Magic Forest,” “Treasure Island” or “Deep Sea.” There is also a restaurant that is modeled after a traditional American amusement park, with a vintage carousel instead of your regular old table and chairs. Overall, it’s a quirky, magical space aimed at stimulating the imagination and fun-loving spirit of the employees who work there. Enjoy these behind the scenes photos of the space.
