Leica has unveiled an all-new limited edition M-P Typ 240 camera that comes with a Summicron 35mm f/2 ASPH lens, dubbed “Safari.” Featuring a rugged lacquered and leatherette case paired with a chrome finish lens and classic round metal hood, the timeless aesthetic of the camera is complemented with a Safari Green color which dates back to the ’60s. In addition, the kit comes with a full-grain cowhide carrying strap alongside an SD memory card and business card holder to match. Interestingly, this special edition pack offers up great value when compared to purchasing the M-P camera and lens separately. Limited to only 1,500 units, the Leica M-P Type 240 “Safari” kit retails for $9,990 USD and is available for pre-order at select stockists including the Leica Store Miami.
