'VICE' on HBO Season 4 Official Trailer
The award-winning documentary television series returns.
VICE, the award-winning documentary television series created and hosted by Vice magazine’s Shane Smith, returns to HBO next year. Known for its bold, cutting journalism, the show’s second season garnered wide acclaim after winning an Emmy Award last year in the ‘Outstanding Informational Series or Special’ category. The series is produced by Bill Maher and works with CNN journalist Fareed Zakaria as a consultant, reporting on a range of complex political and cultural topics. Taking on an immersionist style of documentary filmmaking, the series has a compelling roster of features set to air for its forthcoming 18-episode season. From segment host Thomas Morton exploring what life on Mars would be like, to Gianna Toboni attending the first large-scale vigil in Paris since last month’s shooting, viewers can look forward to a string of engaging and thought-provoking pieces that the program has been praised for. Season 4 of VICE will premier on HBO on February 5. You can watch the full trailer above.
