maharishi 2015 Fall/Winter "Climate: Monsoon" Lookbook
Constructed with technical fabrics for optimal waterproofing and breathability.
UK label maharishi has unveiled its latest seasonal lookbook photographed by Alastair Strong, featuring imagery that showcases the technical fabrics key to the 2015 fall/winter collection inspired by the London climate. Highlighting a waterproof capsule collection, the various urban-centric silhouettes are constructed with Mat_Air™ Nylon in order to produce premium technical seam-sealed jackets. The textile is exclusive to Italian mill Serates, produced from a highly waterproof and breathable membrane that employs a micro-layer yielding a remarkably soft touch. A plasma finishing process ensures that the garments are water-repellent and durable, designed with the modern commuter and traveler in mind. Essential features in the range include pack-away hoods, secure pockets, neoprene side panels, ergonomic sleeve construction and packability. Standouts in the set are the military-inspired Maha Parka and Long Waterproof Parka, a waterproof high-frequency welded nylon backpack, and the Shinobi Visor made with fleece backed reflective glass bead material that remains invisible against night-lit CCTV cameras.
