Far more beautiful and elegant than what mopeds today have become, the Honda PS50 was designed to be as close to the design of a fully fledged motorcycle with a streamlined tank, racing-style seat and a manual change clutch system with twist grip handles. What is most interesting is that the PS50 was never sold in the United Kingdom, making imports such as this highly collectible. Having been impeccably restored and cared for throughout its life, James May’s Honda PS50 is now available for auction at Bonhams with an initial estimate of between $2,700 and $3,600 USD.
