Founded in 2004 by designer Ryo Ishikawa, the concept behind VANQUISH was “to embody a stylish masculine ideal” while establishing its own playful take on Tokyo streetwear. More than a decade later, the label continues to create its own collections while collaborating with a handful of high-profile brands, including Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design. For Fall/Winter 2015, the duo’s DENIM BY VANQUISH & FRAGMENT line returns with a variety of standout, denim-based styles for the current season, including jeans, jackets and shirting. Highlights include pieces like printed oxford button-downs, band-collared selvedge oxford shirts, an indigo denim jacket and straight-fit jeans in a variety of washes, all of which are made in Japan and feature expertly executed washes and finishes.
