Seattle-based Shabazz Palaces recently dropped a new music video for their single “Forerunner Foray.” Taking an interesting departure from the hip-hop group’s penchant for visceral, edgy cinematography, this visual escorts viewers to a psychedelic, surreal animated world – one in which Magic Johnson astro-surfs on a pepperoni pizza slice and ancient Egyptian pharaohs are the centerpiece.
