Himanshu Suri, better known by his stage name Heems, has been grinding hard the last two years, making a name for himself as a solo artist since the disbandment of his alternative hip-hop group Das Racist. With two mixtapes under his belt and even landing a verse on the loaded posse cut “The Rap Monument,” Heems further solidifies his solo status today by announcing his debut album release. The album, named Eat, Pray, Thug, is due out on March 10 and is said to contain some fueled, politically charged content that touches on class, racism and relationships. Our first introduction to the project is the lead single “Sometimes,” a blaring, magnetic jam that’ll quickly spark your interest. Check it out above and let us know your thoughts.
