Contest Winner COBE to Design adidas Group Headquarters in Germany

Danish architecture firm COBE has won a contest to design the adidas Meet & Eat building at the adidas global headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The new structure will fit into the athletic brand’s World of Sports campus, where athletes, executives and employees will gather for showrooms, meetings and lunch breaks. The futuristic 11,000-square-meter building features collapsible floor to ceiling windows able to accommodate for the changing seasons in the historic town. Contemporary roofing highlights a collection of glass and streaks of concrete, which symbolizes adidas’ signature three stripes logo.
