Panasonic has just previewed its most sophisticated compact camera to date, the Lumix LX100. The new Lumix camera is a major upgrade to its LX7 predecessor featuring Micro Four Thirds, 12.8-megapixel MOS Chip, the same size that is used in bigger interchangeable-lens models. It also has a high-speed Leica 24-75mm f/1.7-2.8 lens, a wide-screen 2,764K dot LVF and a 4K video capture. These features make the camera on par with the Lumix GH4 and well ahead of other interchangeable models. Though the price hasn’t been revealed yet, the new Panasonic Lumix LX100 is set to arrive at the end of October. Stay tuned for the exact release date.
