New York-based photographer Ryan McGinley recently opened his sixth solo photo exhibition, titled “Yearbook.” Taking place in downtown Manhattan, the exhibition comprises of 500 nude portraits of 200 models, all set against brightly colored backgrounds. These photos were then plastered over all the walls and ceilings of the Team Gallery so that not one bit of wall shows through. The result is a compelling visual space of very raw representations involving McGinley’s subjects.
