Junya Watanabe MAN has released a selection of outerwear pieces for its 2014 fall/winter Nylon Taffeta Quilted Collection. Drawing inspiration from traditional British hunting jackets and military wear, Junya Watanabe displays his versatility in design via progressive cuts, while the use of different fabrics contribute to the line’s fashionable yet utilitarian aesthetic. Nylon taffeta, wool, cotton and cowhide leather have been used throughout the quilted pieces, while the green parka features a fur-trimmed hood, coated nylon fabric for the outer shell, and mixed material paneling.
