There Was an Aphex Twin Blimp Flying Over London Today

It looks like we can look forward to some new music from legendary electronic Aphex Twin, real name Richard James, this year. Earlier today, there was green blimp flying over London near the music venue Oval Space in Hackney. As NME points out, one side featured Aphex Twin’s trademark logo while the other side read “2014,” with the logo in place of the zero. Back in 2010, James announced that he had completed six albums, as well as “loads of tracks which don’t belong anywhere,” whereas in June, he offered digital copies of his rare album Caustic Window via a Kickstarter campaign.
