Michael Jordan Takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Calls Out Phil Jackson and the Dream Team

One can’t look very far across all platforms without seeing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in full effect. Spanning the world over with a plethora of big name celebrities ranging across all disciplines, perhaps one of the most noteworthy was that of Michael Jordan‘s participation. In doing so he also called out his former coach Phil Jackson and his Dream Team teammates to participate both in the challenge and donate money.

While some have denounced the movement for both wasting water and being so openly enthusiastic about not donating, the debilitating disease of ALS has however been the real winner with increased awareness and donations — much greater than prior to the launch of the viral movement.
