Filling Pieces continues to meld together luxury and street sensibilities in its 2014 fall/winter collection. The Amsterdam-based label keeps in tune with the dark navy, green and black hues usually executed during the cooler season, however several new fabrics and patterns are also introduced. White soles are paired with cherry red leather, camo prints and exotic leathers. Trending within this collection is the attention to textured detailing, perforated holes, intricate woven wire patterns, and the use of grainy leather seen across the label’s signature silhouettes. This season’s collection also sees the introduction of a brand new model, the Era Low – a riff on a classic silhouette from the ’70s.
