One of the more conceptually-strong brands on this side of the Pacific is burgeoning label THE/END, who has just unveiled a look at their intended collection for Spring/Summer 2015. Dubbed “NO VAGUE,” the Los Angeles-based studio drew influence from the New Wave music movement of early 1980’s New York. As vintage western patterns, dyed leather and experimental androgyny were all hallmark aesthetics of new wave’s ‘distressed cool’, so too do they make up the look of THE/END’s first-rate offerings. Monochrome printed T-shirts and bold oversized leather jakcets harken to old record covers, while over-washed denim and weighted chinos add a sense of edginess to the collection. The range is completed by an assortment of patterned shirts and accessories. Enjoy this look through THE/END’s Spring/Summer 2015 pieces, arriving retailers and the brand site in the coming months.
