Help Don Cheadle's Miles Davis Film Get Made

While the news that Don Cheadle would be starring in a movie based on the life of Miles Davis has been in the air for quite some time, it appears we now are closer than ever to seeing production get underway, however they’re looking for some help. In association with Miles Davis’ son and nephew, Don Cheadle, who will also be directing the film, has launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise $325,000 to assist in the creation of the film. As the video up top will go on to talk about, those funds will be put to good use by doing things such as adding Ewan McGregor and Zoe Saldana to the cast, getting Herbie Hancock involved, enlisting the talented composer Robert Glasper, and bolstering the movie’s soundtrack some big names in today’s music. With a little over 80% of their goal raised and just 64 hours left to gain the remaining amount, the Miles Ahead campaign may be cutting it close.
