Some things are delicately ornate and some things are meant to be used; UK-based Wrap Magazine is a nifty combination of both. Founded in 2010 by ex-jewelry designers Chris Harrison and Polly Glass, they banded together to create a medium to showcase burgeoning illustration and design. What’s more, Wrap also includes ten illustrated wrapping papers for the issue itself, printed with vegetable-based inks on 100% recycled paper. The creative duo itself uses aesthetically driven products in the creation of the magazine, but are equitably concerned with the practicality of each item. Look to Chris and Polly’s neat TwentyTwentyOne tape measure, nifty travel pouch or bone-hued paper folder – all of which tell a story of neatness and attention to detail. From these pieces, alongside the jewelry and traditional technology, it’s easy to trust Chris and Polly’s good taste when it comes to the magazine.
