Teased previously with a rather gruesome trailer last year, the latest installment in the irrefutably great Metal Gear Solid series has arrived in time for this summer’s E3 conference. Kojima Productions picks up Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain where Ground Zeroes left off, finding Big Boss resurgent on a brand new Mother Base and mourning the loss of Diamond Dogs past. From Big Boss’s perspective, fans of the game are also treated to appearances from Liquid Snake, Skullface and Ocelot, which helps to inform the structure of the game. Enjoy the trailer above and be sure to pick up Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain upon its release in the near future.
