XCAR recently made a visit to British sports car maker The Briggs Automotive Company (BAC)  to take its street-legal Mono out for a spin. Characterized by its low-elevation spaceship-like body, the Mono is powered by a 2.3-litre four-cylinder Cosworth engine that churns out 285 brake horsepower and 206 pounds-per-foot of torque. Paired to a semi-automatic transmission able to  provide quick 35 milliseconds shifts, the car sprints to 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds and tops out at 170 mph. Suffice to say, it looks like XCAR’s correspondent thoroughly enjoyed his time behind the wheel. For more from XCAR, check out the YouTube channel here.
