Lupe Fiasco has joined the movement Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) as a celebrity ambassador. As a first act of collaboration the Chicago native releases the Soundz and Duke Da Monsta-produced song “Mission,” which opens with multiple messages from cancer survivors as well as current patients that are battling the deadly disease. One of them is GRAMMY-awarded single Charlie Wilson. While the song also serves as the lead single off his upcoming Tetsuo & Youth album, it also initiates the various collaborations tied between Lupe and the SU2C.
“’Mission’ is a track to empower those facing cancer, revere cancer survivors and remember those who have passed to due to cancer related illnesses.”
