Ghurka 2014 Campaign Furniture Collection
American bag and accessory purveyor Ghurka has pulled the drapes back on its collection of Campaign

American bag and accessory purveyor Ghurka has pulled the drapes back on its collection of Campaign Furniture. Comprised of 11 pieces, the collection derives inspiration from turn-of-the-century designs, and all pieces are crafted from solid oak wood and vegetable-tanned calfskin. The stools, chairs, tables and pillows included in the release all reflect a particular militaristic aesthetic, specifically of the Ghurka soldiers of the Himalayas. The designs originally caught the eye of founder Marley Hodgson in the early 1970s. The rugged elegance of the furniture truly speaks volumes about the history of the brand, while prices range between $195 USD for the smallest leather tray to $6,250 for the largest wooden desk.
