This weekend, Raekwon declared he was on “strike” from Wu-Tang Clan‘s projects due to creative differences with RZA, and now, RZA has responded to the claims. Taking to Hot97 to share details, RZA notes that there is more going on than what fans may read in interviews, and shares how although they often end up reading each others view’s in magazines, there is a (perhaps small, but effective) level of communication between the two that exists off-paper. Both rappers noted talking for the first time in months, with interest in having more one-on-one conversations with each other.
We could call it “arguing” or we could call it “building” … What we’re not doing as brothers and as business brothers is putting time together. So I gotta read about how he feel. He’s gotta read about how I feel … I try to make myself as available as I can. I won’t deny it, I’m a busy man.
