Beyoncé Tops TIME Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” List

Every year TIME Magazine shares its highly anticipated list of the “100 Most Influential People in the World.” Crossing the world for its most celebrated and prominent figures, titans, pioneers and artists in all fields, TIME has given the honored cover to Beyoncé Knowles. With her husband gracing the cover last year, Bey has proven her dominance with the surprise release of her fifth self-titled studio album, an outstanding world tour and of course her first job as a mother. Beyoncé has insisted that girls “run the world” and declared, “I’m not bossy, I’m the boss.” She raises her voice both on- and offstage to urge women to be independent and lead.

In the past year, Beyoncé has sold out the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother. Her secret: hard work, honesty and autehnticity. And her answer to the question, What would you do if you weren’t afraid? appears to be “Watch me. I’m about to do it.” Then she adds, “You can too.”
