Sam Smith celebrated a soulful debut on Saturday Night Live. The rising English London crooner, who admits to “religiously” watching SNL back home in the UK, started with “Stay With Me” off of his upcoming In The Lonely Hour album. He continued to bless the audience with “Lay Me Down,” while his vocals were backed up by a piano player and lone cellist. Watch both segments below.
