1955’s GMT-Master II is undoubtedly one of the most iconic Rolex timepieces and the “Pepsi” edition is perhaps the most beloved edition of the timepiece. Now the design returns for 2014, souped-up and decked out in white gold. Similar to last year’s 904L stainless steel GMT-Master II, the watch comes powered by Rolex’s bidirectional self-winding calibre 3186 movement with a Parachrom hairspring and Breguet overcoil, but now incorporates the patented red and blue “Pepsi” dual-colored cerachrom bezel insert along with solid 18k white gold construction and a 40mm sport case. In-depth details on 2014’s GMT-Master II can be seen via the renowned watchmaker’s website while the watch is expected to be available in the months ahead.
