Pharrell Explains the Reason Behind 'G I R L' Album Title

Linking up with Zane Lowe backstage at the BRIT Awards, Pharrell used the interview to explain the reason behind his album title as well as share the reasoning behind its unique placement of double spaces and all capitals. Explaining that by making the album title G  I  R  L look a little “weird,” Pharrell details how it reflects upon how society also is a little imbalanced, and encompasses “everything that I’ve ever wanted to say.” Watch the interview above and share your thoughts below.
