Here we get more familiar with one of the finer exports from down under as Perks and Mini (PAM) unveils its lookbook for Spring/Summer 2014. The “Acid Polke” range looks to maintain PAM’s dreamy, psychedelic aesthetics, looking equal parts youthfully adventurous and confidently mature here. Fashioned by featuring Hodgy Beats (MellowHype/OFWGKTA) and shot on location in Hawaii by Brick Stowell of Odd Future, subtle floral prints are executed with non-traditional (though beautiful) dandelions and polka dots are exploded and filled with cloud motifs in the background – all of which decorate the slightly exaggerated silhouettes. The color palette also expands to soft pastel pinks and baby blue, underlining the undeniably peaceful vibes.
