OverThrow Pop-Up Shop Opens in Toronto

Toronto-based OverThrow recently launched a pop-up store in downtown Toronto to introduce its collection titled “History by Mind.” The collection was curated by founder Samuel Wong and chief designer Kyle Pang who combined Chinese history with Western street aesthetics to produce items with distinct blue and white porcelain detailing, traditional paper cuts and snakeskin patterns. These cultural designs are applied to a series of tees, chinos, jackets, jeans, hoodies and shirts. The pop-up shop will remain open until March 15 (Tuesday-Sunday, 12-8 p.m.) so be sure to stop by in the area, particularly as it will be hosting sales each weekend and will be giving away special items this Valentine’s Day to each happy couple that makes a purchase.
