After announcing their split back in March 2013, My Chemical Romance have reunited for one last time with the release of “Fake Your Death.” Noted as their ‘eulogy’ song, “Fake Your Death” will feature on the band’s upcoming greatest hits compilation May Death Never Stop You. Band members Geard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro share their comments on their final project:
“The title is fitting, because as sad as it was to say goodbye to the band, we look at this collection as a celebration of our best songs, and hope the memory of them continues to bring joy to you all as they have for us. We hope you take the journey with us into MCR’s past, and enjoy the small taste of what might have been.”
An unfortunate sighting for fans alike but nonetheless a reason to reminisce the past 12 years and enjoy their final offering. May Death Never Stop You will be released March 21.
