Brooklyn-based Ferris has unveiled the lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Now in its eighth season, Ferris’s refined yet youthful aesthetic — one which mixes classic tailoring with contemporary styles and details — reflects the brand’s growing maturity. Inspired by Amish postcards and the painting of Gerhard Richter, this season’s collection offers up a mix of workwear-inspired silhouettes in heavy fabrics and muted fall colors and more modern looks with a color palette that goes heavy on the blacks. A clear highlight is the season’s outerwear, which includes some classy overcoats and a slick satin coach jacket. Look for the collection later in the year at Ferris’s online store.
