Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center by Design Blitz

Previously noted for their dynamic presentation of the Skype Headquarters in Palo Alto, San Francisco-based Design Blitz serves up yet another architectural offering with the Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center. The 31,000-square-foot office sits in Sunnyvale, California and provides a cool new home for Comcast’s Sunnyvale team. Catering to the Comcast principles of collaboration and innovation, this open office environment encourages connectivity and community with liberal doses of vibrant crimson. The design also pays tribute to Comcast’s roots as a cable provider by mimicking an electrical wiring diagram, running red wire-like patterns across the carpeting as pathway guides and using red hooded structures atop to divide meeting and social spaces. Finally, the project also achieved LEED Gold certification for its green-minded use of materials.
