Soon, BMW‘s 4 Series Coupé and convertible will be joined by yet another addition the the range: the 2015 four-door, hatchback-style Gran Coupé. Somewhat similar to the 3 Series Gran Turismo, but measuring both wider and longer while sitting closer to the ground, the 4 Series Gran Coupé sees the 428i powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four – capable of 240 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque – while the more powerful 435i features BMW’s 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine, capable of 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque to boot. In the United States, only an eight-speed automatic transmission will be offered while rear-wheel-drive will come standard for both models (the 428i will, however, also be offered with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system). Look for the 4 Series Gran Coupé to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this March.
