OG Maco mixes it up with AutoTune and less abrasive sonics for his newest, “Night Like This.” Considering the aggression and fury involved in OG Maco’s breakout hit of the year, it’s an interesting choice to close out 2014 on such a mellow, laidback note, especially when you factor in the politically-charged militance of his most recent EP. This more melodic approach to rapping and style of AutoTune has worked for Atlanta rappers such from Future to Key!, so it’s probably not a big surprise it’s one of the many tricks Maco has up his sleeve.
