N.E.R.D. - Squeeze Me

We now have our first taste of the music Pharrell has been cooking up for the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants movie. Earlier in the month, the “Happy” hitmaker told Variety about his musical work for the film, and “Squeeze Me” is our first impression of Pharrell’s latest endeavor. The song serves as the first new N.E.R.D. song we’ve heard since 2010, and fellow N.E.R.D. musician Chad Hugo labels this new SpongeBob music as more ”like a psychedelic, otherworldy type of thing.” Considering it’s been nearly five years since Pharrell, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley have collaborated together on a track, this will probably garner a lot of attention for the music soundtracking the upcoming SpongeBob movie. However, this will probably even spark even more interest in a new, original N.E.R.D. full-length. You can check out “Squeeze Me” below.
