Two years ago Juvenile spoke with Complex and explained his reason for leaving Cash Money back in ’06. Referencing money issues Juvie said, “the music business is like the sports business…and when you put in that much work you should be compensated for it.” For the New Orleans-native and former Hot Boy member, this statement still rings true, as he pulls a Lebron on the rap industry, revealing to MTV News (while rocking a Rich Gang cap) that he has officially re-joined his hometown label that brought him to fame (400 Degreez, The G-Code).
Overall, the rapper seems happy to be back home telling MTV that he plans on retiring under Cash Money. As for his upcoming comeback project, Birdman has announced that Juvenile’s next album will be produced entirely by Atlanta’s London On Da Track. Watch his interview here, and we’ll make sure to keep you posted on all things Juvie.
